I have just done that, although it is almost time for another kidney checkup.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I am looking forward to the appointment as I want to know where I am. It will be interesting to know what the vital readings are from the various blood tests and also at my last checkup they said my urine needs checking for something.<\/p>\n<p>So what\u2019s going on? \u00a0There are a few symptoms to discuss although I\u2019m hopeful these will be of little concern at present. \u00a0Current symptoms include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>always feeling cold, not just in snowy Snowdonia. \u00a0As an aside, the photo above shows how chilly it is here while we spend a few days in North Wales<\/li>\n<li>more often these days I can feel a little discomfort in the middle of my back, just where my kidneys are. It doesn\u2019t hurt or anything, just a subtle sensation<\/li>\n<li>my urine leaves some bubbles in the toilet, even after flushing the toilet<\/li>\n<li>while talking about urine, it is often cloudy with very noticeable amounts of debris, mucus etc<\/li>\n<li>I managed to get shin splints so easily before Christmas through running. I\u2019ve been reluctant to run since<\/li>\n<li>I get leg cramps more often these days, especially at night<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have posted this as a reminder for myself.
