Sometimes I go along to a Home Group which is organised by our church. It’s a midweek Bible study and a chance to have a natter, a cuppa and a time chewing something over. Last week it wasn’t just a Psalm which I was chewing over…. Continue reading “Cookies and Psalms”

Wedding anniversary
Yesterday we had our wedding anniversary, in fact this was our 23rd. It is always a special time and one of thankfulness. As you can see we had a visit to Ironbridge, somewhere I had always wanted to go. They say it was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Our adventures took us a little further….. Why I’m teetotal
A few years ago I posted the article below about why I’m teetotal on one of my other blogs. It has had thousands of hits from all around the world. As it is something I feel strongly about, I decided to repost it here. Please feel free to comment regardless of whether you agree with me or not.

Although the question remains and my morning at the Job Centre illuminates some workings of the DWP, here’s how it went…. Continue reading “Morning at the Job Centre!”
The overwhelming, never ending reckless love of God
We have just had an amazing weekend and the words to the song we sang on Sunday morning sum it up beautifully – the overwhelming, never ending reckless love of God. This is why….. Continue reading “The overwhelming, never ending reckless love of God”
My review of 2018
In thinking ahead to my review 2018, there’s no denying it has been an extraordinary year with many unexpected events and blessings. It is probably easier to break it down month by month and needless to say I’m already looking forward to whatever unfolds in 2019! Continue reading “My review of 2018”
