Hey you’re on my contact page for getting in touch – it’s always great to hear from readers of my blogs and I’ll respond ASAP. Contacting me this way ensures your details are not published (for further details see my privacy statement below).
Ask me a question about anything you’ve seen on this site, or if you’d like me to write an article for you. Just say if you’d like me to write a review for you or you’re interested in submitting a guest blog article.
Look forward to hearing from you!
PRIVACY STATEMENT (June 2018)
My blog’s website address is: https://maturingwell.co.uk. and is owned by myself Doug Hook. You can use the above contact form for getting in touch with me. If you have any concerns about data security, this privacy statement and my website as a whole, please contact me using the above form. I will respond to you as quickly as I can.
My blog and website as a whole is not intended to be a commercial website although there maybe some affiliate links which can generate an income for myself, some posts maybe sponsored (and this will be made clear on the post) or in future I may agree fees for certain services.
When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to my website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
I will not share any information you provide to me via the Comment function above with out your express permission. Likewise as this is a website supported by WordPress, WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. By leaving a comment, this will automatically generate an email notification to my personal gmail account where I will have the option of approving or discarding the comment and information provided by you. This information will be managed in a way which is similar to the comment itself i.e. it is retained indefinitely.
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that I erase any personal data held about you. This does not include any data I are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
I will be using the web hosting security arrangements and features to ensure the website and any information is secure.
Concerning the contact form itself: all data submitted by website visitors is stored in website database. With every form submission Form Maker plugin collects users’ IP address and WordPress user ID for logged in users. In the above contact form I collect personal data, such as your name, email address and website (if applicable). We need this information to respond appropriately to you. Please refer to the text above on how your personal data is handled.
Information about visitors who leave comments on this website will be automatically processed through the Akismet anti-spam service. The information collected depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the website, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
