Retired 5 years – how’s it been?
In a word, wonderful, quite likely the happiest time in my life. In late July 2018, aged 56 I walked out from the blummin Council for the last time. I had quit my job and retired. I just didn’t expect this – yes, I have unexpectedly found myself in hospital for a couple of days. This last happened in 2018 at the start of my blog and that turned out to be a life changing milestone. I’m definitely not looking for anything like that again.
