Today I had an almost magical bike ride with Becky, my eldest daughter. This was the first proper bike ride in 8 months!  A couple of days ago I had a slightly shorter trial ride and this was absolutely fine, thereby spurring me on for today’s ride. It’s Christmas Eve!

Everything’s falling into place for Christmas

Heaps of outdoor gear in the hallwayThankfully everything’s falling into place for Christmas.  The Christmas tree is up in the sitting room and odd bits of tinsel through the house.  Everyday the postman brings a few more Christmas cards which we open eagerly looking for newsy news from our friends and far flung relations.  Our two girls are now home, almost.
