Right now I know these tender times need to be cherished. They are precious and a case of dreams and prayers coming true.
The four of us are home at the moment. Hannah has a little time off work as a sailing instructor on the south coast and we have Becky with us. Becky is getting married on 17 August and this will be such a huge, life changing event for her and for all of us.
While it is true our girls effectively moved out a few years ago, they still have their own rooms in our house and we operate like the family we have always been.
In recent weeks we have seen Becky celebrate her 21st birthday, graduate, get the keys to the house she and David will live in, get a job for September.
For Hannah we are enjoying having her around. She often helps to bring out the best in us and I love her home-making qualities. This has even gone as far as converting the garden shed (!) to a little den and also as a guest room for Cesca coming next week. Hannah has also been cooking!
Last night we had some friends around from the Art Group. We sat in the garden, on the decking, for cheese, biscuits etc while we chatted about things. All very nice, spas they are local to our neighbourhood.
