Lately my DIY mojo has dipped and this has occurred at a less than ideal time but our friend Clive has rescued us. Recently we had a little flood in our bathroom (you’ll need to ask Rachel about that!) and this has necessitated the need for a makeover in our bathroom. I’m not feeling as confident as usual when it comes to DIY but I’m sure I’ll snap out of this soon.

Latest art – Nicholas Oloo
Today I went along to the art group at church, first time in a couple of weeks owing to this and that. It was nice to return and catch up with some of the folk I’m slowly getting to know. Also so heartwarming and unexpected when a couple said they’d been thinking of me while I was away from the group. Continue reading “Latest art – Nicholas Oloo”

Thought it might be helpful for some men out there to know about my holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) experience. There is little on the web of the patient’s experience, just medical leaflets which although helpful, lack the personal experience. Apologies to my friends and regular blog readers, maybe skip this post completely unless you’re particularly interested. My pre operative assessment
I forgot to mention I had my pre operative assessment last week, all okay. Actually it was quite funny with the staff playing “guess his BMI, blood pressure and so on”. Continue reading “My pre operative assessment”
